Got phone calls today from these people under several spoof numbers: 601-434-0643, 269-392-8095, third showed on my ID as a law firm from Jackson, MS, and the fourth as the Munson Medical center from Muskegon, MI. These freaks have an ability to imitate various numbers so they may appear on your caller ID as local. Their operating procedure is always the same: get your credit card number and bill you for their "services." Even if they find only 4-5 victims a day they can still scam people of millions in a year.
Scam; credit card "monitoring" offering debt relief.
The thugs just wand your personal information to steal your identity.
Only victims would be ill informed or gullible who can least afford a financial loss...
Marketeer is ill educated and inarticulate...
thanks- on your ‘operator’ line, the letters are
Cyrillic (Russian, Ukrainian, etc.),
which I transliterate as “Belahyeen.”...
maybe relates to Belarus? In English, a word pronounced as above means ‘balance’...
maybe they’re jokesters, since the letters could also show they’re ‘spoofing:’ ‘Be lying!’
