i have been repeatedly getting calls sice last year from numbers that begin with the same digits, which tell me they are all owned by the same group, or at least that is most likely. they begin with 1-601-450-21..
the list includes (or at least the ones listed in the last 30 missed calls, which is as far back as my phone allows me to look)
each time i answered it said nearly the same message as when it left a voicemail. it said to press a certain # button on the phone to indicate a wrong number call, so i did, and it told me they would correct their systems, yet they continue to call.
it is an automated computerized female voice. it always asks for a man whose last name i am not sure of.
i am sure that the given first name and middle intial were
Ricky J.
the last name i am having trouble with, but it sounded like it was pronounced
mur-yoo
my dad thinks it is a Mississippi number, due to the 1-601 part.
it always says something like its a message for ........ and they're calling about important personal business
"Please have _________
Call our office during business hours for a message concerning important personal business"
the given telephone number was
601-268-2927
and then the given reference number
205-7718
that's all i have for now, but i am about to do some thourough research.
Thanks Bill...went online to that site you posted for telemarketers...only had to put my number and a message "do not call my number" then submitted it. Hope it works!
the number is for southern finacial its a collector for doctor bills if you want to speak with someone there like i just did the number to call is 601-450-2084
I have answered this number several times and no reponse, how the hell do they expect a person to straighten out anything if they don't respond when i answer, this company is a joke !!!
