I just tried to call from a land line and it automatically went into voice mail indicating that "the Google voice subscriber is not available to take your call, please leave a message and..."
Very interesting comments from all, and like most of these good people, I also hung up. But Jeff's note is troubling. Since people still fall for the Nigeria emails, I would think someone who could really benefit from a lower interest rate might bite -- maybe a senior, like me. Slimeballs.
