Answered the call. Got a robo message about Student Debt Forgiveness. I've looked into this before so I was curious and followed the directions and pressed 1. Without prompting it connected me to a woman with a heavy Jamaican accent and lots of background call center noise. Acting a bit confused I asked what this call was about. The woman asked if I had student debt. I replied yes and asked who she worked for. She rattled something off that I couldn't make out because of her accent and the background noise. I asked her again who she worked for and she hung up on me.
Long story short: it's a scam call tricking you into thinking it has something to do with the Student Debt Forgiveness program which is real.
