Lately I've been getting calls from what seem to be local phone numbers but nobody answers when I say "Hello" SEVERAL times! I have a photography business so I try to answer local calls. I think the scammers have gotten wise and are now using DISCONNECTED local numbers. I blocked the landline number at work & called this number back. I got a message saying that it's DISCONNECTED! They're now "piggy-backing" on LOCAL disconnected numbers! It gets very annoying because, unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be anything that the FDC could do about these annoying scammers!!!

Someone had called several times, when i answered there was only a recording saying that i had been missed and they would call again later. Today i get a call back from someone named Steve who says that someone had be trying to reach me for 15 days with important documents but he couldn't tell me abt further information. It's a scam, but since it's a piggyback number, there's not much to be done. I'm blocking the number, but hopefully singing9more can be done about these terrible people. Do not store personal info on ur phone!! They hack those too!!!
