I keep receiving calls from this number and when I start to say I'm not interested they hang up in my face. How so very rude. Even if I were interested in getting what they're trying to sell I would not get it from this company.
I, too, am getting calls from 601-654-8429. They never leave a message, they never say anything, and if I call the number back it says it has been disconnected. These people obviously have malicious intent. I want it to stop. What can I do?
I received a call from this number at 10:15 this morning, The guy asked for me by name and said he was selling GE security systems. The call generates from Lena MS. This is not a business or they would have someone to pick up the phone when you call back.
I just received a call from General Electric Home Security at 3:01 PM, on Friday, August 15, 2014. I had to ask the gentleman whose name was unintelligible as well to repeat what company he was with before allowing him to proceed. He stated that they wanted to put a sign in my yard, blah blah blah; and as soon as I said, "I'm not interested, I already HAVE..." I didn't even get to finish my sentence before he hung up on me. I find it interesting that I did a search for the phone number 352-654-8429 and the top result on Google was this site with the number 601-654-8429.
It's most definitely a telemarketing scam of some sort. I try NOT to answer these calls; this one caught me off guard.
They got me also. Don't know why I answered but I did. They went into the home security sales pitch. I told my 3 year old daughter it was 'grandma' and handed the phone to her.
They call me everyday I answered once and they were trying to sell me a security system. I began to say I'm not interested and they hung up in my face. Do not answer because it's s scam. When they find out u don't have a security system they can break into your home. DO NOT ANSWER BLOCK THE CALL!
