As with the other posts, I am getting automated calls from this number to my cell phone. They do not identify themselves and the call is automated. When I call back I get a recording saying I have reached an automated system and am not given an option to speak to anyone.
I don't think it is for any over due health claims as I have none (I am a medical provider myself!).
The caller SAID she was with some medical foundation of Mississippi & was calling about a past due balance I had with a local doctor's office...from back in 2008. She said that the charge was nearly $200 & that I needed to pay it immediately. I told her I was not aware of a past due balance, and had been to that doctor's office several times since 2008. If I had an outstanding balance with that doctor, I would have been required to pay it at check-out.
I requested a copy of the bill so that I could research it myself. The caller informed me that a copy of my bill would cost me $20! I replied, "You're kidding! That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard." AND THEN SHE HUNG UP ON ME!!!

I called this number back and asked them to take me off their list. They were asking for someone who doesn't reside at my number. They said they would.
