Got a call using the same number on 8/22/17. I didn't pick up on it and no message was left. I have had century Link service for many years and they seldom if ever initiate a telephone call and use primarily regular or email.
I got a call from this number. A man with a very heavy East Indian accent told me he was from "Century Link." He asked me if I had my modem on.
I don't have Century Link. I told him so. I also called him a liar and told him to never call me again. Since this is a local call I called it back.
A voice (that sounded like a young man,) answered and said "Century Link." I told him about the call. He said that someone had found out their number and was spoofing it, calling people.

Got a call from the same number and wanted to check my modem, told him that my son worked at Centurylink and I would call him first before I would talk to him. He said okay and hung up. My son said it was a scam and I call the store in Phoenix and they verified it is a scam.
