Agree, a telemarketer called telling me I won a valuable prize & gift card for filling out a form at a BlueClaws game. Figuring it was a hoax I came online before returning the call to confirm my suspicions. As I said to my husband when we did it, it's a scam!
Filling out a forms at our local Baseball Stadium, go Fightin #1. The fine print on the bottom or the back was viewed by my eyes, but never registered mentally. My fault for that and will be more aware. Nothing is ever free and I can sit for a few hours listening to a sales pitch. My husband said no if the location is simular to ours. Forest cover mountains, crops/ farms. Nature only disturbed when the 3 vehicles or ATV puttering by. Time-shares is a term used like more like an ability or item for necessity. Winning an prize may seem free, but you must play first. When a local dealer is generous to put a new vehicle for us to see at the Ballpark. This piggyback tactic by some Chain of Hotels, airlines, and the misrepresentation of a winning a prize was because the time taken to fill out the entry is the only requirement. Wonder if the baseballtown community would like to know how their phones show out of state numbers. Our money stays local and the time put into an area we trust in. The time already wasted,along with money since Marketing saw a public place with a high attendence and being full every game. Sneaking around and blantetly lying, is a type of morally ugly people we do not tolerate. My passion for the game will always be there. The loyalty to the players is based on the time invested and the desire to win. My opinion of the stadium is not quite completely different yet. Word of mouth and local gossip spreads fast out here. Not a scam completely but I wonder what company is profiting from this Locally? Or how Many? I will have to repost my findings. Be aware and ask questions.
