OK I finally got what this was - I dialed *67 (to block my caller ID) and dialed the number - a automated message - thank you for calling JCS (JCS Enterprise promotions) - timeshare BS - I called spoke, they wanted my info - hung up blocked
[***]. i should have checked here first and saved myself the aggravation. i received several messages stating i won airline tickets. when i called back to learn more about it, i was told all we had to do was go to Wyndham hotel in Manhattan and pick them up. they were pressuring me to schedule an appointment - which i cancelled the next day. we never went to pick up the tickets and then i got a letter in the mail from Club Wyndham stating that my i was pre approved for time share.
here's the best part - when i called to OPT OUT of the screening for the time share, a recording asks for my SS# and DOB!!! I NEVER SIGNED UP FOR A TIME SHARE!!!
Called about some time share that sounded like "Fantasy Resorts" but am guessing it's probably really Fantasea Resorts which I just found exists in Atlantic City. I told them to go away and stop calling because they called once before and ranted about some Atlantic City place. Told them we aren't into timeshare ripoffs no matter where they are and don't want to waste our time to get high pressure sales tactics thrown at us.
I got a message that I had filled out an entry at a cornhole competition and they had "exciting news" for me. I have never been to a cornhole competition.
