Yeah, this says Conway, NH, but it's a boiler room in Minnesota, according to the caller. He wouldn't say how he got my number and gave some random sounding mortgage survey company as the source.
Called once over a month ago & I picked up. Claimed to be from Clinton's campaign & I reluctantly took the survey, said I was not voting for her. They sent someone out to my house a week later, again, told them I wasn't voting for her. & they have been calling once/week ever since, I don't pick up. I even blocked the number, but they must have googled how to get thru when someone blocks their # with an iPhone because their calls are STILL coming through!! Ridiculous...
Charities, along with some Survey's and Political calls, are exempt from the DNC, however, they can still get into trouble for not placing you on a internal DNC when asked, you can also check your states laws in regards. Some states have different laws in regards to the calls, which can differ from the federal but as far as I know, Oregon is the only one that does not allow Charity calls.
