let the answering machine record the message which was, none, but the caller ID struck me as odd. V91423084800007. Got a similar on 9/11/15 only it was V91200051700007. I'm guessing it was a robo-call.
This was a phony Windows tech, but much more aggressive and threatening than I've heard in the past. I stayed on the line just to see what he had to say. He mentioned a number of times he knew where I lived and would come to my house and take my computer if I did not follow his instructions.
I have been sucked into the Windows tech calls before. I would have told him to come on over because the police will be there waiting for him. Received a call from a woman with a very heavy accent that claimed to Windows Technician and reported that my computer was infected with virus. Wanted me to go to my computer and run some off their diagnostic software. No way Jose, hung up on them!
