Yes just got one today. Amazing how when you hit "1" to "talk to a mediator" it just hangs up! Total scam as per usual. File a complaint with the FTC and Department of Commerce and the Attorney General's office.
It's not really amazing, Nikki. It's planned. When you press any number it tells them your phone is live and they can count on you to scam in the future, or even worse, to sell your number to a few hundred other scammers. They may get only pennies per number, but it adds up. 1)Don't answer unknown numbers, 2)Don't talk to strangers, 3)NEVER call back.
A spam caller saying they are filing something against me with a claim number. I did not answer nor did I return a call. They left a message. How can I stop them? So annoying
It's a scam. They make up some debt that never existed and threaten legal action. When you ask for details they want personal information first. Never give out personal information that could be used for identity theft!!! If you ask them to send it in writing. "We aren't allowed to do that."
