Called to say I'd won a prize - a trip to Orlando, Daytona and Cancun, 7 day car rental, dinner cruise, etc. Wouldn't say who they were - said I'd registered on-line. I asked them why they didn't contact me online.
Long story short - the prize I "won" would only cost me $287 per adult. Telemarketers. Asking for my partner's name, let's hook him up on a conference call, etc. Scam.

This is a fraud campaign currently active in Canada using a series of VOIP numbers. The objective is to obtain your credit card number and drain your account.
If you attempt to "opt out" your number will be confirmed as live and added to a suckers list for repeated future calls
