I got a call and the person said they represented the state of SD and asked if I knew a person because I am listed as a relative. I said no. They said you are listed as a relative and this person does exist. I said no again and they hung up.
They called and said i had 2 open cases on me they had all my info. Like who i worked for they had my birthday and then told me if i wanted to settle out of court i could pay half on my fine or whatever it was after i told them i wasnt putting my credit card out there she got all mad and said i could use a paycard and i said i dont have any money right now so she said ok then i will send a court person to serve u papers i said ok u know where im at
The caller named off an aquaintence of the family had listed my mom as an emergency contact and if I had any way of contacting her to send them information. When asked who they were, they would not answer, instead asking if my name was so and so (they were right). Multiple times, they refused to answer who they were, so I told them I couldn't tell them anything because we aren't on speaking terms.
