Call to Home Phone 6/9/16 10:35 AM. Caller ID notes WIRELESS CALLER 1-605-210-3706. Voicemail sounded like a robot with an East Indian accent and stated: "... is IRS Internal Revenue Service. The reason of this call is to inform you a lawsuit is being filed against you. To get more information about this case file please call immediately on our department number (605) 210-3706." Reported this to both FTC Complaint Assistant and TIGTA - Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration.
A man called from this number stating that he was an IRS agent and requesting $10,000 from my wife. This is a scam. If the IRS wants to reach you, they do so by mail.
