This scammer calls numbers on the national do not call registry in violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act. They further violate the TCPA by failing to have an operator on the line when the call is answered, and still further violate the TCPA by playing a recorded message without an operator on the line to stop the recording and answer questions. Once you get to an operator, the operator further violates the TCPA by stating that they are not allowed to provide a phone number or address when asked. This is not only information that 100% of legitimate businesses would gladly provide, but is also required by the TCPA to be provided when requested. Their recording states that the victim has been qualified for a $250,000 loan, even if they have bad credit, but the operator needs to get basic qualification information, making it clear that the victim has not been qualified. This is quite clearly a scam. Do not provide this scammer any personal or financial information.
