This person is a scammer. They sent me a fraudulent check to purchase something I posted online. The scam is that they send a check for more than the original amount and want you to immediately money gram them the difference. This is a verified scam artist.
For a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.
For text messages: forwarding any text message spam you get to the short code “7726,” which spells “spam” on most phones, to alert your network operator to the abuse. ATT won't accept 7726 But they will accept BLOCK and return a message that the web site is blocked. forward the texts to 7726 or BLOCK, depending on your phone carrier.

Person at this number sent me a check for more than the agreed price. Check looks fake. Check came from pittsburg. Return address Illinois. Usbank check from madison investment properties beverly hills.
The check is no good. You deposit it, it takes a few days to clear or even weeks if the routing number is off. By then you have sent them money, the check comes back, you are out the cash and the bank fees.
Take the check and the envelope it came in to the post office and have them forward it to the postal inspectors.
