I had 2 phone calls in a 60 minute period. I work nights with one week mandatory on-call during the day each month. I have to keep my cell phone on. These calls are very intrusive, unwanted, and unwarranted. Now I am awake when I should be sleeping. Karma needs to get these idiots soon.
Eventually got to the "Floor Manager", whom asked if his agent was "polite and courteous", and gave his name as "David Kell[e]y". Wasted 20 minutes of their time today. He even asked me for the first five digits of my Social Security number, so with the earlier request of the last four, they have the entire (fake) number. I don't know if that means anything, but generally I think they try to avoid having the complete number so they can't be accused of using it fraudulently.
I think I pissed him off today too, with at least four checks on the (fake) number (I corrected the two "transposed" digits on the second reading), where he let out an exasperated sigh before terminating the call...
If you want to be really stone cold (and after years of harassment, I feel I qualify)
I've started suggesting they commit suicide because they're stupid and worthless
and no one likes them. In that cold state of mind, if an operator in fact kills
themself......

Not my best work but I able to waste 8 minutes of the idiots time while I commuted this morning. I seemed to transpose a number once or twice. I eventually got a "go f*** yourself" before they terminated the call. Keep these idiots on the line and prevent them from scamming our elderly and aged.
