Caller id was TAX HELP CENTER. This is probably the same group using this caller id with other numbers pretending to be the IRS. I was out and they left no message. Will report to the SHEET list.
Called and didn't leave a message. Caller ID shows up as, "Tax Help Center". Did a reverse phone look up on whitepages.com, as well, and people are reporting it as a tax fraud/scam.
I received a call from this number Tax Help Center must owe the IRS $10,000 or more. I am on a Federal and State Do not call list and shouldn't have been called in the first place. I mentioned this is the IRS Chicago Branch and they mentioned I lied. These type of scammers need to be stopped. I also have my number registered with the Federal Trade Center in Chicago and I start the recording as I get on the phone in the morning.
