Also got the same message from this number and 501-725-0900 and 605-496-9191. Had a lot of my personal info, claiming I owed a debt and that they could settle with me outside of court before I get arrested. Did not provide employee names, company names, or address. Became very rude and hung up on me after I asked for verification in writing. SCAM
These people called my home cell and my work cell. Said it was for something back in 2010. They threatened criminal charges. Pretty much a scam operation.
In NC there is a 3 year SOL to file civil action. Criminal actions do not apply to alleged debt collection.
Any legitimate debt collection would send process through certified mail or have civil process served by sheriffs dept.
If anyone can locate the address of this outfit, post it. I will invest in a plane ticket to South Dakota and pay them a visit.
Called my cell phone and said highland loans put money into my checking account in may 2011 and they want it back. No one has ever called me or put money into my account. They told me they are starting prosecution and garnishment against my paycheck.
