This was the text message that came to my phone: "Make a grand a week sending text spam like this!" This must be a new spam number since I am the first one to report it. My spam blocker silenced it, fortunately. The message asks you to respond with "stop" to be taken off this mystery company's list. But that sounds dangerous -- like calling an 800 to block future faxes -- answering "stop" just gives the spammers a live (manned) number to either use over and over or sell to others -- doesn't it? Doesn't phone text spam work the same way?
