Woman named "Anna" with heavy Indian accent. Number obviously rerouted as city that showed up on caller ID was "Forest Hills" with a 606 area code. Asked for some random employee, and when questioned what the call was regarding, received practice response of " a document". I offered to "take a message", to which the response was "get lost". This probably the fifth time in two days that I picked up a call from this person, so... They try from different numbers and get the met with the same response.
Man with accent has called over a dozen times for the same employee regarding collateral. Transferred him to Purchasing as well as a no-voicemail line and finally resorted to slamming down the receiver in his ear, to no avail. Researching the line has led nowhere.
Spam - calls over and over leaving 2-3 second blank voicemails on business number. One time I did pick up the caller quickly read off a 1-line "bringing your attention to the email we sent" and then hung up. I then received 9 additional calls at about 30 minute intervals.
Technology Insight provides audit, accounts payable, and supply chain services. It's based in New Hampshire, while the contact area code (508) is Massachusetts. The company is being spoofed, because 606 is Kentucky. A woman with an accent specifically wanted the VP Marketing, who has nothing to do with the above topics. I put her on hold, and she hung up as I was researching this.
