Claim they are the irs with an open case file. Gave me a badge number IRM7177
Would not tell me what this was regarding.

called my cell and  didn't recognize number so went to voice mail instead of answering.   Says from IRS and law suit being filed for overdue taxes.  I have no overdue taxes and per a friend employed with the IRS, they NEVER call.  IRS does all notifications in writing by mail!  This is a scam.

Received two calls from "IRS - we are filing a lawsuit against you" ..yea right
