Received a text on my cell phone from this number. Text begins "Have you been turn down for loan..." It continues with numerous errors in spelling, punctuation and pluralization. I am invited to email a certain address to get funding for whatever project I may have in mind. The text is signed "Mrs. Anita Gutkin, Virgin Atlantic Loan Funding."
I hope the crackdown on robocalling also extends to texts. If it doesn't, we've left a big loophole open.

Eddie, again. Received the identical text from the same number about 3.5 hours later - right during dinner. I have a bad feeling the scammers are going to switch to texts instead of voice calls.
I got a text from the same number, wanting me to contact them vial email to the address of [email protected] to "have further discussion." Never talked to this person in my life.
