yeah this number is a scam.A guy in a middle eastern accent saying i owe to a payday loan company and theres a lawsuite against me.But when I ask for info on this they just get made and say im going to jail.the say there from collins and baker legal associates.
I received a message form a man with an accent saying that I need to call him back about a very important matter and said if I didnt call him back he wishes me luck as my fate is in my hands. He was very threatening and quite creepy.
Forward the message to 7726. It will be investigated and blocked by your cell phone carrier.
This is a criminal extortion scam operating out of India. They are making the calls utilizing VOIP and the names of legitimate firms to make it appear the calls are originating from within the US. There is NO "company" or "debt" and you will NOT be arrested. They are harvesting and/or buying consumers' personal identifying information from unscrupulous websites like the one you may have filled out an application with, and you need to do whatever you can to protect yourself. This includes: Notifying the FTC: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/, placing fraud alerts with all three credit bureaus, notifying your bank and employer and letting these criminals know you are aware they are attempting to extort money for a non-existent debt and have alerted the authorities.

I have received two phone calls from phone number 6066875726 at my place of employment yesterday danny morrison left a message expressing my need to call him back & if not he wishes me luck. Then last night I receive another phone call from the same number and they also left me a message from the same person again the person with a heavy accent tried really hard to pronounce each word to let me know if I did not call the number back I will be in a lawsuit & he wish me luck because he could not help me later.
