New phone number for IRS SCAM!!! Message says IRS is filing a lawsuit for unpaid taxes.

IRS scam. Called first time @ 7:15 AM< then again 2 hours later. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY CREDIT INFORMATION OR MONEY!!! IRS only contacts via snailmail.

It has been reported to the IRS inspector general.  If you call them you get someone in a clearly noisy call center who speaks in a South Asian accent, says he is from the IRS, and starts asking questions.

Left a message to call the number back twice.

same thing - called once - recording told me IRS was going to file a lawsuit against me, then called back an hour later - same message.
