I got an offer for my car from this number in a text that I posted on Craigslist in CA. He wanted to use PayPal and not having used it I looked it up. Glad I did! He's a scammer saying its legit just send my PayPal email. Said a company would ship it at no cost to me and I pressed and was was told Expert-logistic&transportation and it comes up as an appliance company in the UK and then as a scammer. Other phone numbers used to be used for this purpose. Agree to your asking price say they can't see it in person. Glad I was persistent so no money or losses on my part!
They "send" more than you are asking and ask you to pay the "shipper" by untraceable means. Then it turns out the PayPal is fake and you are out the money you sent. No one buys a vehicle sight unseen, and agrees to pay your asking price to boot. Always conduct the sale in person, for cash, at a secure location. Many police departments allow you to use their property just to keep you safe and to reduce their workload as well.
