Call came from New York but represented themselves as if they were an attorney in Texas on my voice mail. It referred to a person that no longer lives here as having a case for bank fraud against them with the case coming up in a Texas court. They needed to call them back right away.
For court you either receive a summons or registered mail not a phone call from NY. This has scam written all over it.

I received a call from 607-203-0941 (Kenneth - couldn't understand their last name) and they left a message stating that I have a case against me for check and bank fraud.
