I just received the same call and when I asked questions he hung up on me as well....I also called back and got same recording saying press any button to be added to do not call list...
this is a scam...what concerns me is all he wanted was my exp # on my credit card. Does this mean he already has my card #?
I received this call today and finally answered it because they call me every day. A man with Middle Eastern accent began asking me specific questions about my credit card including numbers of my card. He was very difficult to understand and I repeatedly had to ask him to repeat the question. I told him I would not give him any numbers off my card. I told him he had called me and I didn't know if this was from my credit card company and I would not give any card information. He continued to ask me for the information stating that he was verifying that I was the holder of this card. I continued to say no and that I was going to hang up. He persistently kept asking me for the card information and I hung up. I also called back and was given the message to press any number to be placed on Do Not Call List.
It might say Bartlett Inc, and the call's coming from NY, but don't be fooled, it's just the drug- addicted "card services" scammers calling from another one of their spoofed numbers, in an attempt to rip us off. Google my name to learn how to stop their annoying calls, while also having some fun!
