This number called me with what sounded like a 5 year old asking for the owner and then someone that can make decisions for the owner. Instead of correcting her grammar, I asked who was calling and what this was regarding and she hung up. Caller ID showed their phone number.
She calls day in and day out and today I got fed up with her bs. The phone call went like this:
-Hi. This is Olivia Fielding calling from Merchant Services. May I speak with the owner or the decision maker of the business?
-Where are you calling from again?
-Merchant Services.
-Ok. What is your ID number?
[pause]
-Excuse me?
-What is your ID number?
-We do not have ID numbers.
-What is your name again?
-Olivia Fielding.
-Ok. Let me just grab a pen. Olivia. How do you spell your last name?
-I'm not allowed to disclose any further information before I speak to the business owner.
-How do you spell your last name?
-Olivia Fielding.
-How. Do you. Spell. Your. Last. Name.
Hung up. If they call again, I'll record the phone call and inform them any further contact from them constitutes harassment. It does.
