I received 2 calls yesterday. I had been looking up information on WebMd. Next thing I know the phone rang. I did not answer, but I just dialed the number back and chose option 1 to speak with a rep., it then played music, recording came on and said to "leave a message after the beep'. Wow, what a loud beep. Anyway, it is some sort of sales scam so I do hope this helps. Good luck, and God Bless.
DR RECOMMENDED is name and phone is 1-607-203-5653. If you answer it is a live person saying I am calling you in response to what we sent you. I said I didn't receive anything and nothing else, In a few seconds he says are you still there and I said what if I am and recorded message about some bullsh!t pain medication "I GUESS" he or his company pushing and I hung up.
First call from this number on 9/16/14 at 4:00 p.m. in the afternoon; displayed on Caller ID as: "DRRECOMMENDED". We did not answer it, and no message was left on answering machine. Even though we are listed on the DNC registry, it doesn't appear to help with these types of calls- which are becoming more and more numerous- as scammers seem to be finding ways to work 'around' the DNC registry guidelines/restrictions. Not sure where else- or to whom- these types of calls can be reported as annoying and disturbing nuisances???
