Picked up call. Julie said press 1 to lower your electric bill. I pressed 1 and a real live person came on the line. First question. How much is your current electric bill. My answer "NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS" and hung up
This is what the call is about. These people calling are using a computer to make thousands of calls every day. They are called " VOIP" calls which means they are made using a computer over internet. The purpose is to log ever number that is answered with "Hello". Soon they will have a list of tens of thousands of "good" phone numbers and the locations of the people called so that they can sell it to spammers. Isn't Technology Great?
Its horrible. I try not to pick up but if im waiting for a call and the number looks familiar i take the bait. I have over100 of these numbers added to my autoreject list
I received a call from this number about 5/6 hours ago. See my post from above. They are relentless. They should get a life. I would love to tell their loved ones what they do for a living. I'm sure Mom & Dad would be proud of their SCAMMER
