Probably a combination of both the most annoying and most desperate people on the planet. They are sad people, but because they act like idiots, it's really hard to sympathize and empathize with them. Then I want to get angry because they are con artist, liars, scammers, and they don't even know it. Or they don't act like it because of the almighty dollar. These are the people who are the trolls of the world. They won't be remembered and if they are, it's will probably be a pitying after thought. You were here once and we are better off without you.
Caller said her company was Technology Research. I asked the caller she was requesting if they knew her and they responded that they didn't. Spam and probably phishing too.
These people call back to back for literally minutes and sometimes hours on end. very nasty and insulting when you refuse to assist or transfer. If you simply hang up they will call back instantly. The best method is to leave them on hold so you can at least manage 30-60 seconds of peace between calls.
Asked for someone who doesn't work here. Told him that, asked me to make sure and look in my directory. I hung up instead. Room full of operators in the background
