Keep on getting calls on my landline. From 7 AM- 10:00. The Caller ID Says GENERAL REVENUE

This is apparently a third party collection agency handling a lot of student loans (Sallie Mae).

It appears that that band of felons is actually employed by Sallie Mae.  However, the CFPB now has jurisdiction over the collection of student loans.

Yup, I saw that. This outfit certainly has dirty hands after reading some of the BBB complaints on them.  Hopefully the CFPB will take this outfit down!

This number has called me twice now, leaving very vague details which tell me nothing. They never say the name of the person they're trying to reach or what it's in regards to other than "a debt". I had to find out from random comments online that they're responsible for student loan debt collections. I've never even had a student loan, so the call isn't even for me, but that didn't stop them from giving me the person's reference number. So not only did they not tell me who they're looking for to verify, or what the debt is, but I now have the reference number where all I have to do is call back and give it to them then bam, I have someone's personal information, which is a very real possibility had I not looked to find out what kind of debt collection they do so I could make sure it wasn't for me. They are not very professional, assuming they aren't a scam.
