A man called and he knew my last name and he said he was from NY Assocation for police officers and he stated that he makes calls every year to families and to repsond to families who has lost officers but also for sports programs for kids. And then he asked if I was still a NY resident, after I told him no, then he hung up. Sounds like a scam to me.
