I received a message from a man at this number 607-595-2341 claiming to be John Williams with the Attorney General's office and that there is a lawsuit against me and he would be at my house at 9:30am today with his "cops" to arrest me. I could barely understand this man due to his heavy accent. I don't know what he is talking about, but will not be harassed by anyone.
the man has a heavy accent and is claiming to be from the attourny generals and told me that if the "claims" were not taken care of that i was going to jail the next day so after the call i looked up the number and its for Ymax communications in new york. there are many fraud cases coming from that area code and may desribe the same man using different numbers. I'm angry we have not caught this man yet
The word is "attorney", the threat was false, and it's hard to catch an extortionist thug who is likely not found in your own country.

I received a all from "Attorney John Williams" who said there was an affidavit for my arrest and if I didn't settle with him immediately, I'd be arrested at 9:30a tomorrow morning, pay $7000 in court fines and spend three months behind bars. He has a VERY heavy accent and when I asked that courthouse, he replied "the one located in your county." Many red flags went up after this conversation and as I started to do some research, I'm pissed that he would bother me with this scam, as I was pretty freaked out because none of it made sense. I hope they catch him. Calling my county Sheriff's office now.
