The above phone number is what appeared on my caller ID. HOWEVER, I would like to point out that I am 99% convinced that this phone number was spoofed. When checking with WhitePages it appeared that this phone number belongs to an elderly lady who lives about seven miles away from me, in my same telephone area code. I highly doubt that an individual such as herself would be dialing these SCAM telephone calls. The recorded robo-voice on the other end of the phone began, "Hello! This is Veronica calling from Card Services..." (Rest assured, the elderly woman who actually owns the above telephone number is NOT named Veronica, nor does she engage in telemarketing.). Blocking the above-cited phone number merely blocks an innocent woman who never made these calls in the first place. The SCAMMERS will eventually resort to spoofing a different phone number next time!
