Amber asking if I had heard of "stone-coated steel roof." When I said 'no,' she hung up. No company name provided. Caller-ID just said "Madison, WI" (which was probably spoofed.)
This is "Fran" from "Sunset Ridge Exteriors" (http://www.trysunset.com/ and 608-838-2500) trying to sell roofing. They don't call from their company phone lines in order to hide their identity, and use prepaid cellphones instead. They will also refuse to divulge their true company name unless you get quite far into their spiel and are receptive to their pitch--they claim instead to be calling on behalf of the manufacturers of their products (a lie). They have been making these calls in violation of the Do Not Call List for quite a long time; back in May 2014 (for example) their telemarketing calls came from 608-271-2253. Avoid this company at all costs!
