Yep, received a call from Seventh Avenue stores about a catalog order I placed 2 days ago. They said I needed a 10% deposit as a down payment. I looked at the fine print carefully before sending in order, nothing about needing a deposit. Hmmmm....told them.that and cancelled order also told them I was going to contact BBB as well as Wisconsin banking dept as well as Florida fraud division. People be aware of them. Run run away from them very fast. RIP OFF!!!
It is 7th Avenue. Most likely it is about an order you tried to place, that they will say they can't send because the credit limit they gave you is wrong. Stay away from them. They have called us 6x in the last 30 mins to discuss an order we placed. We finally answered when we were not busy on another line to tell them not to worry about it as we will NOT be shopping with them, and to plz stop calling us.
I've never shopped with them - just ripped up the credit offers and recycled the catalogs. How the hell did they get my cell phone number?? They call back and they're going to get an earful!
Kay answered, I told her have NEVER placed an order with 7th ave., said report to credit bureau, that she had cancelled the order, they even had the last 4 digits of my social sec. its a scam. be aware.
