Claimed to be from Montgomery Ward Credit (but caller ID said "Swiss Colony") and they were "concerned about a potentially fraudulent purchase to be shipped to a different address".  They said that the purchase was made with a Chase VISA in my wife's name, with a specific last 4 digit number.  We have no such card with that number.  I called Chase and they have no record of this card.  I called Equifax and no new cards have been issued.  The odd thing is that they never asked for any information not publicly available.  Anyway, Wards (evidently they do still exist) does not have a fraud unit that uses this phone number.  I'm not sure what these guys are up to.
