Who called from 6083716644

Some God father gangster sounding tool called leaving a message threatening legal action and telling me he was in contact with my lawyer and wished me the best of luck because he was really hoping I would call back so we wouldn't have to go through lawyers. No specific reference to who he thought he was calling or what incident he was referring to. So I call back and his equally gangster sounding associate tries to be cute with me when I ask for Mike Gold. He asks if I'm a VERY common name or if I know them and I tell him no so he said he'll take me off the list. Sounds like a scammer to me so consider yourself warned and don't let their little tough guy act fool you, they're just some dudes on the other side of a phone. Don't give them any information they don't give you first, even your name.

Mike Gold appears to not exist or is away from the office a lot. They won't give me any information about the person they are looking for or how my number is associated with that person except to say it was an internet search, MAYBE tlo. They initially claimed to not have my name then magically discovered it. Shady company, if they actually are a company, if not answered your call goes to a voice mailbox for Cynthia (sp?) Holt. They absolutely KNEW I was not the person they were looking for and still left a message threatening legal action with absolutely no specific information so I was forced to call back to find out what they were talking about. And I still don't know what they were talking about because they refuse to give me any information. The second tool keeps hanging up on me or putting me on hold so this is what I know about this number. Don't answer if they call. Apparently I've been 'taken off the list' until they start looking for someone else with my same surname (insert eyeroll if you're reading this Jersey boy).

I received a call from a Mike Gold around 5:01 p.m. threating me. He mention something about me or my lawyer contacting him before he expedite some paper work from his state to mine state. He said, "he pulled my records and that my records was pretty clean and he thought it was unfair that this was happening to me."  I called back and it would ring until a woman's voice speak through on the voice mailbox. I always get a voice mailbox. How am I to resolved something if I can't get a hold of the Office of Mike Gold? I really think there is something fishy about this situation! Where is the proof of debt letter that I haven't received?

Same thing here...obviously a scam. Leave them alone.

I received a call at 12 yesterday which went as follows:

This is the office of Mr. Mike Gold this is Mike Gold I need to get in with you (never identified who he was calling for) or your attorney within the next few days.  I’ve been advised to expedite some paperwork out to the state, and I thought that was rather unfair based on the fact that our public record on you and everything came back clear, nonetheless this is a voluntary call, I’m  gonna emphasis the word voluntary.  If I fail to hear from you or your attorney within the allotted time we’re gonna render a decision on your behalf possibly pursuit against it locally. I did communicate I’m gonna keep my fingers crossed but I’m not gonna hold my breath if I don’t hear from you within the next few days I’m gonna expedite. This is the office of Mr. Mike Gold good luck to you.

First of all who makes calls and does not identify who the message is for or leave a phone number if legitimate; I don't make a habit of returning those that don't.
His  attitude was ominous and threatening and his tone was meant to intimidate as if he was punking whomever he was calling,
I could not find an attorney on the registry with his name from the state of Wisconsin which is where the phone number originates.
I’m definitely not any type of criminal so he certainly wasn’t calling for me.
He had lots of umhns and such included in the call that I didn’t attempt to put in his “script” I use that word because it’s exactly what it sounded like to me.
He does not work for me so he can’t possible render a decision ON MY BEHALF, I guess he forgot which side he was working for or they should hire a script writer who can be consistant.
The whole spew is an insult to professional attorneys who have a hard enough time with bad rep due to individuals such as him.  (if by any stretch of the imagination he is one, he is certainly the bottom of the barrel and there are several law school classes he should retake.)
I certainly will not be returning any phone calls because I have no idea who he was calling for, no number was left and even had those been his attitude was lacking to say the least and I don't answer to bullies.
