I'm an independent financial advisor too. I received a call this morning from 608-396-3069 from Josie Amory, asking me to call her back about a request from a client from her to call me.
I did not return the call, thanks to this nifty site. Thanks!
I am an Ameriprise Advisor, this number is from a company called Legacy Investments or something like that and they called me today to ask if I wanted to look at another company to work for. I told them politely " not interested ".This number is not calling on behalf of Ameriprise. When I called back they didn't identify themselves on the main greeting, nor did the telemarketer identify herself other than her name.
I also received a message on my business phone with the same number and extension - name of caller was Lisa Atwell. Asked me to return her call, very polite, but no indication at all about reason for call.
Interesting though, that I too have a financial planning franchise with Ameriprise. They are in no way affiliated with Ameriprise, but may be targeting Ameriprise advisors?
Don't want to be called ever again!! Lisa Atwell is her name at ext.111 said I should call her asap.
Give me a break. Never identified who she worked for or company.
Jenna called our office to speak with one of my FA's. She said she was calling about her client, who was an FA in this office, but left them firm earlier in the year.
