Received two calls on my cell phone 10-15-2013. My cell is on the no call list for WI. I did not recognize the number so I did not answer. The caller did not leave a message. Later I called the number back and a machine picked up and it said "IT Business Edge c/o QuinStreet, Inc. ... you can also find us at www.itbusinessedge.com."
I had never heard of IT Business Edge until I received the call but according to the website, IT Business Edge is a network of various sites in IT (information technology) publishing. The IT Business Edge is a network and source for IT news and helps users compare products and solutions for IT. I have no idea how they got my number but my guess is that they purchased a list of names or received it from an affiliated site. I work in an IT profession and have downloaded some white papers recently.
