They are claiming to be from SMS out of Schaumburg, IL but the area code is Madison, WI.
Every time they call it is the same female but a different name. They call at least once a day so we have started to make it a game to see how long we can keep them lying on the phoen before they hang up on you. Record is 1 minute 15seconds so far :)
"Tara" called asking for our President. I wouldn't let her through and asked why she was calling and to give me her phone number. She was RUDE and said she would call back. Telemarketer of some sort, couldn't catch the name of the company. When I called the number back, it rang 6 times and went to a busy signal. Sounds like an outbound only #....
Asked for the CEO after mistaking me for him (reception desk). After getting voice mail he called back and asked for the CEO's cell phone number. When that failed he said he would call back later. Lots of pauses while he waited for me to offer him something and a brusque and familiar tone of voice like he knew us/our CEO.
This number has called us every other day for months. They have are VERY rude. Not only do they talk over you, but they will not let you take a message. It took awhile for me even to get the callers name. We told them we did not want what they were offerering- so they sent someone over here in person. We told that person what was really going on- he told us to be rude right back (to the company he works for)! I have asked to be taken off the list- they called me the next day. DO NOT LET THIS COMPANY call you or set up a meeting. We haven't got rid of them- we are still trying.
This so called company says they are going to help you and help build your business, what a bunch of crap. I let them stop out about 2 years ago now and we have told them SEVERAL times we were not interested and to be taken of the list. They are very rude, and the latest phone call today I asked what does your company do, he said something about marketing and I said hold on bacause I was going to let someone else speak to him and he hung up on me. I think they still call every week or so, what happened to the DO NOT CALL LIST?? The rules don't apply to them? I think the company name is ABS but they say it so fast and then when you ask them to repeat it they ignore you and jusy keep on talking. Very frustrating and completely RUDE!!!!
