John K - if that is the case, I think I'll start answering after the 2nd ring & then hang up. Maybe that way they'll stop calling me. They've called my number 4 times in the past 4 days. I never answer, but it is very annoying.
@Gaby-They probably want to ask you for a donation. This number has called here twice in the last several days. I don't answer if I don't recognize the number. Since it's not an 800 type call, they hang up after 3 rings, because if the answering machine picks up, they get charged for the call. It's kind of annoying!!

Had several calls from this number. They wanted me to write 5 letters to neighbors asking them to do a blood donation. I said sure then for the next few days I got calls thanking me or doing so. I cut them off, then got angry. Calls stopped. I called the local Red Cross Blood Bank where I am known and they said they never did anything like this. They are investigating. Sounds like a scam. Don't give them information!!
Apparently this is a marketing company for the American Red Cross. I complained to the Red Ctoss and got a call from 563-588-0587 Xtension 3810 a Erin Behrns who was in charge of this promotion. It is legit but badly run. Hope this helps.
