Called my land line, I didn't answer - the answering machine picked up and the caller didn't leave a message, I assume its no one I know and blocked the number.

Eastern time zone scammers, using a spoofed Central time zone number, (Wisconsin) as verified by the 'v type dialer' time identification, as one hour later than the call was actually received in the Central time zone.
For some reason, I actually answered this call, but I didn't say anything. After a couple seconds of silence, I heard the "click" of someone hanging up. I am assuming that this is a robocall of some kind, set to trigger a message if somebody on the receiving end says anything. They are blocked. Forever (or until I die).
