I got a call from this number on my cell. I answered and I immediately heard that noise you hear when it is a telemarketer. I know this noise, since I used to work as a telemarketer in 2015 and for 4 years back in the late 1990s. It is a sound that sounds like a weird beep. Once I heard that noise, I said "Oh, your a telemarketer" and the person on the other end was totally unprofessional. First off, he was supposed to say "This is (name) and I'm calling from (name of company) and this call will be recorded for quality purposes. May I please speak with (name of person he wants to speak to). He didn't do that. I said, "You are a telemarketer" and he argued with me and said "no I'm not a telemarketer" and I said "Oh yes you are, I heard that noise and I used to work as one, so I know you are selling something". He said "We are not selling anything" and I said "Great. you giving something away? What is it? TVs" He said "no, I'm doing a survey". I said "Oh, you want to sell information to other companies. Great!" He said something like "how is that selling something?" I said "You are a telemarketer and you are getting information from us so your company can sell it to other companies" and he said "uhhhhhhh" and then I said, "Okay let me speak to your supervisor" and he kept on repeating "He's not available" to which I did not believe him. I started to cuss him out on the phone to get him fired since ANYTIME anyone like that calls you with that beep, you KNOW it is a telemarketer. I kept on asking to speak to someone else and as soon as I started to ask him questions, such as "What is your name" or "What city are you calling from". that is when he wanted to hang up on me. He kept me on the phone for an entire 4 minutes while I was trying to get him fired. I don't care if they are selling credit cards, insurance, or trying to get you to answer questions. That beep means that the call is being RECORDED and they need to INFORM YOU that the call will be recorded. If they do not inform you that the call is being recorded then they can be FIRED. That man needs another job. He was just an Ar$$$$$$eeee hole trying to push buttons. He did laugh on the phone too. If you get a call from this number, I suggest that you not answer it since the person on the phone is just a punk kid. He probably has his boss right next to him and they are both laughing. Best to just ask them all kinds of questions. You start asking them question and they want to run off the phone and they will probably not call back. He never asked for any name when he called.
