No one here can stop these calls. 800notes is not affiliated with your callers. What you can do is consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $60.00 or so.
When I answered, an automated voice told me I had been selected to get my interest rate lowered on my credit card and to press '1' to speak to a live operator. I have received this call before - never says a company name - never says what credit card they are referring to - so I have always hung up. I decided to answer it this time. I pressed '1'... A man answered and told me what the automated voice had told me. I asked what credit card he was referring to - he didn't say, but only that he would help me consolidate all my credit card payments into a low interest rate. When I asked him what company he was working for he hung up. I figured so. Just wants my information. If someone is not paying attention, they could give out valuable information - SSN, etc., to an idiot that will use that information to steal from an innocent person. Please shut these people down!!!
I don't even have a freak'n credit card!!!! I received 9 random robo calls today before 3 pm. If I could see my list of blocked numbers I'm sure it'd be in the 100s...this crap needs to stop & I'm claiming HARASSMENT at this point!!!!!
Then stop it, it's not impossible to cut the number of calls back. If you are able to do without an answering device (depending on phone you have), let your phone ring without an answer of any kind. You'll have to sit through a lot of missed calls before you can see a drop. Even if you don't have a credit card, they've got to have a reason to call.
