Got my first call from B & R Interviewing. Hung up after 3 rings, and my answering machine picked up.
( I screen my calls)
I Googled, since I am job hunting, and wondered if they could be a legit interview org.
So glad to see this site, and glad that I did not answer.
They called and left no message on answering machine.
Barna, huh? Well, I'm a Christian and familiar with their research findings. However, I find what they are doing to be both unethical and unChristlike. Next time, I will actually answer the call and let them know exactly what I think about this kind of behavior. I will also no longer believe in the credibility of their studies!
I just got a call from this number as well...and didn't answer my phone because I knew then that I would have to pay for the long distance call (from New Jersey????). Anyways, after reading reviews about this number, I am glad I didn't answer it. After I received the call - which my phone rang about 3 times, I went straight to google, as did others, to find out what this number was all about.
How cute! I read several of the post to find out who this firm is and finally read the post that supplies the site address. http://www.braunreseach.com/staff.html
What was interseting is that they have a security part that asks you to verify you are not an auto dialer or whatever.
Technology should catch up to the phone systems to make that same thing happen for us who want to opt out of surveys of any kind from those who choose to put us through unnecessary harrassment of calls that are unwanted at any time.
Even though sites like this helps us to sound off, I thank them for it. It is just that and we need to go further and reach the lawmakers in our states and nation to make a real DO NOT CALL list that doesn't exempt solicitors of any kind.
Whether it be voting, religious, opinions, surveys of buying habits or any other unsolicited nature that the companies can think of.
If that doesn't work than maybe we need to vote out those who continue to vote against these measures for their own political monetary gains. An uphill battel but one worth taking on.
Sorry investigator, the police were either wrong or pulling your leg.
609 is an area code in New Jersey the lower part of Jersey to be exact. I know i live here and call some people in that area and have business associates there also. Misinformation is terrible but even worse when the law enforcers if they did do that is downright dispicable
